Unreasonable β¬ 20 Wiener Schnitzel. Unfortunately, the Wiener Schnitzel didn't taste good at all. The breading and consistency is reminiscent of an aldi schnitzel. The green sauce didn't deserve its name because it hasn't even seen an egg, we don't even want to start with the aftertaste. The fried potatoes were very dry. The salad, however, was really good. We complained to the staff about the bad food, unfortunately we had to pay the full price even though we couldn't even eat half of it. All in all, an imposition for 50 β¬!
Great destination, great food, super nice service
Big parking space Currently only a limited card due to corona, but this should be expanded again in the near future. The food is extremely tasty, any schnitzel or pork loin is highly recommended
On the occasion of our 54th wedding anniversary we were here for dinner, we can only thank the hosts, who we were served excellently. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back.
Very tasty pumpkin soup, very friendly and attentive service. Because the weather was friendly, we sat outside, cozy outside area. Food in general: very tasty Harusmannskost at good prices.
Extensive outdoor area, great service, delicious food, both vegetarian and game meat. And walked a long time beforehand. Great destination!
Very nice location, terrace is really cozy and beautiful in the forest. Good food offer and tasty.
Delicious food, brisk and friendly staff. Great area for hiking and relaxing.
Was ok staff seemed stressed but had a lot of tables to serve and lots of steps to climb with heavy trays
Nice country restaurant in the forest. Location fantastically remote from the street, there is also a small playground. Great for kids. Food is also delicious in rustic style. Small deductions for the service, which unfortunately has to be called very actively and for the fact that many dishes are often out on Sunday afternoons. Who can live with it: clear recommendation!
Completely overwhelmed and unfriendly service staff ... !! Despite only about 60% occupancy, we were asked twice to leave the table because it was supposedly reserved. It turned out, however, that the tables were not reserved, but that the listless service staff simply didn't feel like serving more guests. Since the quality of the food was also very moderate on previous visits, we decided to go to another restaurant and not visit it in the future either.
Great beer garden, good selection of food and drinks. Likewise the range of cakes. Friendly and brisk service.
Location is very nice, unfortunately the service does not come. What a shame, it can be done better! ππΌ
It's so beautiful in the forest. Despite Corona, it was very well attended and the waitresses were very busy. One or two more waitresses wouldn't have been bad. Unfortunately, everything took a while to be seen. But still all very friendly and thoroughly disinfected. Food very tasty. Price a bit steep, but in the end it was so tasty and beautifully presented that we gladly paid for it. We will be back and would recommend it.
Very nice, unfortunately there is no Valais schnitzel anymore, which is very sad because it tasted very goodππ
Nice excursion restaurant with outside terrace and beer garden. Good home-style dishes, coffee and cake and large ice cream sundaes are served. Friendly service. The tables are comfortably far apart.
Nice beer garden, thanks to Corona the length of stay is limited to 1 - 1 1/2 hours, at the weekend a reservation is recommended due to the limited places
Nice German restaurant in the "nothing". Super cozy, nice atmosphere with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Since you have to walk from the parking lots over a small hilly path and then reach the restaurant via a few steps, it is not for very old people or wheelchair users. The location can be rented completely for events. We got soup and dessert at the table, the rest was buffet.
Home-style cuisine with an alternating seasonal menu. Food was ready quickly and delicious. Service was very friendly. Restaurant is child-friendly and high chair is also available. We were there for dinner during the week around 6 p.m. and had free choice of seats. A star deduction due to somewhat excessive prices, because about a year ago we were there and definitely had paid less at that time. The prices seem to have been raised.
Great selection of dishes. Very good quality. Large outside area with kids playground. Poor service.
It offers a picturesque atmosphere with excellent food, friendly service, and fair prices. Many hiking groups like ours stop there, as it is located by the Rettershof and near many hiking routes. It is also easily accessible by auto right off the federal highway B455 between Kelkheim-Fischbach and Schneidhain.
Very nice terrace unfortunately a not so nice service only short answers to our questions. The minced steak was unfortunately almost saline, the schnitzel was good but unfortunately it was so thick that you could almost read the daily paper who you would put it on, the asparagus soup was good again
Lovely hotel, nothing to complain about! Stay overnight during a trip with children to Tuscany. We had the family room, was fine. Also nice (for the children) was the newly constructed game room with a kitchenette, puzzles, books, etc. etc. The chef / director (young boy) was also incredibly nice and thoughtful! Rest of the staff too. Breakfast perfectly fine. Fresh sandwiches, fresh eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurts, jams, all in abundance!
Great Food you can tell that there cook from seasonal foods and fresh meat great service it was a plesent afternoon great food children our very welcome to πππππ
Superb location. Great local fare
Cosy restaurant nestled in the woods, very nice staff, great food.
Food like my mother or my grandmother served ! We (a middle aged / elderly couple) stayed there 2018 July 8 in the late evening. About 20 guests were on the terrace. The only waiter performed an attentive and professional service at its best. After we sat, it took only 1 minute to get the menue cards. 5 minutes later we got our drinks, and we could order the dishes. About half an hour later our dinner was served: - Wild boar ragout, roasted dumplings and cranberries in an apple halve. - Ox cheeks, little fried mashed potato dumplings with rosemary, sauteed kohlrabi and onion jam. My mother (born 1922) or my grandmother (born 1892) could'nt have done better ! For sure all of the served food could'nt have been prepared freshly completely, but as the german saying goes 'One should let the church in the village'. To get quick good quality at reasonable prices, one must make concessions β¦ Considering this, by heart I can award 5 stars. And I can't understand negative reviews about the service or the food. Perhaps these persons were in this restaurant at the wrong time, and / or they have no idea at all about REAL german dishes, cooking, habits and qualities. Born 1962, in my youth it was common also to enjoy warmed up food made the day ago freshly. And after even e.g. 3 days, day by day, the stew, the ragout a.s.o. tasted to me much better. How could a nation have survived about a 2,000 years and beeing formed by more than a hundred of wars without frugality ? I think today some of my 'fellow' countrymen are having many luxury problems indeed.
Super
